Online platform for vibration analysis #Post3

As I mentioned in my last post, finally I finished my first round of interviews and the outcome is summarized and ready for you to read and comment! The outcome from the requirement engineering are as follows:
There are four main categories that the vibration problems could be categorized into, those are as follows:
There is a very well known problem NVH (noise, harshness vibration) in the field of engineering. Although, noise and harshness goes hand in hand, for simplicity and better data management, keeping them separate is a better choice. That way we can produce better training data for data mining or machine learning.
Those who are freaking out that you can never separate noise and harshness, it will still be possible for a data uploader to choose both the categories or all the categories, if their problem falls under all of them. However, the categories give the data uploader as well as people who are looking through different problems on that platform, a better opportunity to upload their data or a better starting point to base their search on, respectively.
If the problem belongs to first category i.e; Noise, then there would be an additional option for uploading an audio file (.wav) so that the vibration analyst can quickly and easily play the nose file and listen to the noise without having to convert the measurement file to a noise generating audio file. The second category is mostly about physical discomfort or harm in human body that can be a caused by unwanted vibration. Work involving vibration have many health risks, here is a link that elaborates on that. The next category is Failure. This category deals with the issue caused by excess vibration or uncontrolled vibration. Failure could be divided into two main sub categories, i) Prediction (before a component fails, one take measures), and ii) Detection (after a component fails one tries to analyse the reason). Last but not least is the category called Optimization. This category problems falls under the scope of process or function optimization through vibration optimization. For example, robot arm movement. In order to make robot arms work faster in industry line, vibration optimization could be very helpful. Another example could be image optimization on a camera mounted on a drone by optimizing/controlling vibration on an operational drone. So far, by collecting many answers from many different experienced people, I came to this basic categories. However, I am very open to new ideas/suggestions/comments. Please feel free to write your opinion, if you can think of a problem that can’t be categorized in these four categories then please go ahead and mention your problem and tell me why that can’t be categorized among those four categories.
As I have mentioned in my previous post, the What, How and Why has to be defined and documented so that I can lay a foundation work for a future online platform that can help with all kind of vibration related problems. So far I have worked on the What part. However, from my next post I will concentrate more on the How part. I will let you know more about the platform, how would it look like, what would the infrastructure be looking like.
